Welcome to the Lubenham Jazz and Music Event – a celebration of music, culture and community! On Saturday June 17th, 2023, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable day of live music and festivities on The Green in Lubenham.
‘Our aim is to provide a fun, family day out, with entertainment for all ages. We have purposely made the an accessible and affordable to allow as many people to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy an open air music event in a local community hub in the heart of Leicestershire village, You can relax as you absorb the afternoon Jazz vibes, and enjoy one of the many food and drink outlets at the event, as the kids are fully entertained with the various activities on the green. We will also be providing evening entertainment, with a live DJ set and a fully licensed bar, the perfect way to end your day. We look forward to seeing you at the event.’
Starting at noon, our gates will be open for you to enjoy a variety of stalls and activities for all ages. There’s something for everyone with a mix of food vendors, children activities and more. Children (12 years and under) are free, but do require a ticket so be sure to book to avoid disappointment. Advance tickets for adults and over 12s are only £5 which is excellent value for a fantastic day out!.
At 2pm, our live music programme will commence, featuring incredibly talented musicians from the local area and beyond. From jazz to blues, there will be something to suit every taste. With a beautiful outdoor setting and a great atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends and family.
Parking is available in nearby field just off the A4304 Harborough Road via Old Hall Lane. Whether you’re a local or visiting from further afield, we invite you to come and join us for a day of music, fun and community spirit.
